historical features, ample parking, good WiFi
Dated decor left a lot to be desired!!! The maintenance issues, like peeling wallpaper and grubby paintwork, really affect comfort!!! Noise from the bar was intrusive, making relaxation impossible!!! There's much room for improvement here!!!

The cozy atmosphere at The Imperial Hotel stood out right away. The friendly staff greeted me warmly, making me feel at home instantly. Breakfast options were excellent. I especially enjoyed the full Scottish breakfast—definitely a highlight of my mornings. The bar area had a charming vibe, and it was a great spot to relax after a long day. the room decor felt a bit dated, and it might need a refresh soon. Noise from the bar next door was quite intrusive, making it challenging to unwind at times. While the clean bathroom provided ample hot water, it too had areas that could use some modernization. Parking was convenient, and I appreciated the ample space in the room. All in all, my stay had its ups and downs, but the welcoming nature of the staff and the delicious breakfasts left a good impression.
